It is painfully clear from any objective reading of the abortion data that the NYC area is in the throes of an abortion crisis, enduring over 110,000 abortions every year.

It is a crisis that directly attacks the stability and welfare of our communities, and compromises our future. We at Project REACH believe that a positive first step in addressing the crisis is the development of pro-life, community-based pregnancy resource centers.

A distinctively American phenomena, the pregnancy centers are not-for-profit organizations staffed by volunteers who offer life-affirming alternatives to abortion, including peer counseling, abstinence counseling, post-abortion referrals, financial assistance, medical referrals, adoption referrals, baby items and vital information about the physical, psychological and spiritual consequences of abortion.

Pregnancy centers need volunteers of all kinds: counselors, board members, support personnel, and professionals willing to donate their time and expertise to promote the culture of life.
